Integral photography. Digital pre-stage for holograms and 3D displays.

Stereoscopic recording sequences for the production of time/space images.

For spatial vision we always need more than one image.

2 images at the distance of our eyes create a stereo image. Modern displays can process up to 2500 views.

A 3D monitor can processes around 8 images with parallel views, and digital hologram works out 320 to 2500 images.

Digital holography preliminary work

Up to 2500 frames can be processed for a synfogram.

These images can be captured with a camera system or rendered virtually.

These images can then be further processed for digital holograms or 3D monitors.

Integral photography forms the basis for many Time/space applications, such as 3D cinema.

Holograms are made with lasers. A HeNe laser is sufficient for small objects; portraits are produced with pulsed lasers.

There is no medium that can truly show what holograms are capable of, unless you look at the hologram itself.

Holography is the supreme discipline of spatial photography.

Holograms are made with lasers. A HeNe laser is sufficient for small objects; portraits are produced with pulsed lasers.

There is no medium that can truly show what holograms are capable of, unless you look at the hologram itself.

4D Video Production

Syn4D produces many forms of time-space illustrations.

e.g. the F-cell powered Antares DLR-II aircraft
